Change your FTP Username and Password

Every domain that is hosted on your Plesk account has its own FTP details.  These credentials are different and separate from your Plesk Panel login credentials. Your Plesk account may have more than one domain attached to it, and we'll see how to change the settings associated with each one in this tutorial.

To change your FTP username or password:
  1. Log in to Plesk Panel
  2. Go to "Websites & Domains"
  3. Click on "FTP Access"
  4. Click on the FTP username that you want to edit
  5. Update your username and/or password
  6. Click "OK" to save changes

Remember, this applies only to the active subscription (domain). To switch to another subscription, click the links under your login at the top of the interface. However, if you only have one subscription on your account you will not see this drop down.
