Connect with a FTP Client


Whatever FTP software you use to upload files to your domain, you should use the following basic information:

  • Hostname: your domain (eg domain.com)
  • Port: 21
  • Username: account username
  • Password: account password

If you wish to use FTPS (secure FTP), choose the option "Require explicit FTP over TLS" in the encryption settings.


To retrieve or change your FTP account information:

  1. Login to Plesk Panel
  2. Click "Websites & Domains"
  3. Go to "FTP Access" for a list of all FTP accounts associated with the account
  4. To edit or reset FTP account details, click on the username of the account
  5. Update and enter new password for your FTP account
  6. Click "OK" button for save the changes
