DNS records control the way your domains and sub-domains work by providing a mapping between the name and a numeric IP address. Plesk gives you full control over your DNS records allowing you to easily add, edit and delete records with just a few clicks.
Log in to Plesk
Go to "Websites & Domains"
Click on the domain to be managed
Click on the "DNS Settings" icon
You'll find a number of tools on this page. You can "Switch Off the DNS Service", which will make the Plesk server stop responding to any DNS requests for this domain. "Switch DNS Service Mode" makes the Plesk DNS server act as a Slave for this DNS zone and use an external DNS server instead. You can also "Add a Record", modify the zone's "SOA (Start of Authority) Record", or restore this zone to the server's defaults.
Click "Add Record"
Choose the "Record type" from the dropdown menu. For specific information on each record type, click on the Help icon at the top of the screen.
Enter the domain name and the IP address for this record.
Click "OK" to save changes.
The DNS record has been created, but not yet saved to the live DNS zone used by the domain. Click the "Update" button to apply the changes to the DNS zone or click "Revert" to abandon the changes.
