How to find and install Applications



Instead of manually creating files, writing the code, and developing a design for your website, you can install web applications that will accomplish most of these tasks for you. You can use applications to add features to your site, such as a blog, photo gallery, online store, or you can base your site entirely on a single application, such as WordPress or Joomla.

We provide hundreds of free applications for you to use and these can be installed in just a few steps.

To find applications

  1. Log in to Plesk Panel

  2. Click the "Applications" tab

  3. Click on "Featured Applications" to view the most popular applications or click on "All Available Applications" to browse and search for applications by name.

To install an application

Once you have located the app that you want to install, follow the steps below to install it:

  1. Click the "Install" button next to the app

  2. Set the basic settings and preferences for the app (the exact options vary depending on the app you are installing)


To change settings or uninstall an application

  1. Click on the "Applications" tab

  2. Go to "Manage My Applications"

  3. This screen lists all the applications you have installed

  4. To manage an application's settings click on the application's name

  5. To uninstall an application, click on the "Remove" link next to the app

  6. You can click the "Administrative Interface" link to view the admin interface
